Methilhill Community Children's Initiative

Great Outdoors Youth Club

guys outsideTime: Saturdays 10am-1pm (term time)

Entry: £2

Now based with the Methilhill Community Learning Garden, the children are having fun exploring and developing the garden space.

One week we might do campfire cooking, another creating with sticks and string, while another we might do sports and games.

The Outdoor Youth Club children have also been taking part in the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society’s Plant and Grow Course. The programme provides weekly activities for children and young people which guide and educate them on a wide variety of horticultural and nature led themes, such as planting hanging baskets, bug hunting, caring for wildlife and taking plant cuttings to name a few!

The group continue to take trip when possible, including visiting East Wemyss caves to see the carvings, and taking part in kayaking at Lochore Meadows Country Park.
